Redevelopment Project Progresses

Update: The special meeting has been rescheduled for Feb. 16.

Construction in Temple Terrace's downtown redevelopment area is continuing, and workers are in the process of extending Arts Center Drive, the main street, from a  north to Bullard Parkway.

It's the next step in Phase 2 of the project, which began Aug. 5 with the north of .

The road extension is expected to be complete in February.

Plans for a 214-unit multi-family residential complex were submitted to the city in November, and there will be a on Feb. 9 in which residents will be able to review the site plan and talk to City Council members about any concerns. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the .
