New Author to Sign Books at Woodmont Charter School

Kelly Miller, of New Tampa, will be celebrating the publishing of her first novel, “Dead Like Me,” with a book signing at Woodmont Charter School.

According to tbo.com, Miller will sign books from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 23 at the school’s Spring Carnival.

According to Miller’s website, the book is a mystery about homicide detective Kate Springer, who realizes she shares a link with a murder victim while working a case in Tampa—Thonotosassa to be exact. There’s even mention of the University of South Florida in the first chapter.

“I started my journey towards publication in August 2010,” Miller says in the About section on her website. “The first draft only took four months to write, but was followed by an enormous amount of time rewriting, and an even longer time searching for a publisher. Determination, perseverance, and God’s blessing made my publishing dream a reality.”

“Dead Like Me” was published in November. It is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Black Rose Writing and Smashwords.
