Egg Hunt Draws Record Crowd

Families celebrated Easter at Riverhills Park April 7.

From Joyce Johnston, advisor to the Temple Terrace Juniorettes:

We had 210 children attend the , plus parents, so it had to be over 300 people there—our biggest hunt ever!

The weather cooperated, and the children got to make bunny hats, baby chicks, mini Easter baskets, bunny magnets and other crafts. They also played games, got their faces painted, and visited with the Easter Bunny.

The highlight was the egg hunt, with 1,400 eggs divided into four age groups. And, we raised about $500 for to benefit the American Cancer Society!
