Bicycle Group Commends City for Bike-Friendly Signs

The South West Florida Bicycle United Dealers said they like local signs that encourage motorists to share the road.

The South West Florida Bicycle United Dealers, or SWFBUD, praised the City of Temple Terrace Friday for installing bike-friendly signs on 56th Street near Fowler Avenue.

The signs tell motorists that bikes “may use full lane,” and encourage them to “share the road.”

“Way to go city of Temple Terrrace,” the group posted on its blog.
