1. Community Garden Meeting
The will meet Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Temple Terrace Community Garden at . Committees are forming and the group needs gardeners to reach its goal of opening a large community garden in . Organizers encourage those who attend to bring lawn chairs as seating is limited.

2. Tax Season Kick Off Party
in the River Run Preserve shopping center is having its second annual party Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food, drinks, prizes and multiple big screen TV giveaways.

3. Heartstrings for Life
will be hosting Joe Ginem, a former Sickles High School graduate and cancer survivor, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Ginem, of Tampa, is an internationally-acclaimed violin virtuoso and poster student for the Make A Wish Foundation. He will tell the story of his life’s journey, “Heartstrings for Life.”

4. Augsburg Symphony Orchestra
 is inviting the community to its sanctuary Saturday at 7 p.m. when it hosts the , a 45-piece orchestra led by Douglas Diamond and made up of music students at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.

5. Christmas Tree Bon Fire
 will be the site of Temple Terrace’s annual , which takes place on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Bring your Christmas tree or just come out to enjoy refreshments and time with friends. Organizers encourage those who attend to bring lawn chairs as seating is limited.
