  Life Long Skills)\nEntering grades 2-8\nCampers will be grouped accordi
 ng to grades and will enjoy age-appropriate activities.\nPromotes experi
 ences and recreational activities that provide a high quality\, fun\, an
 d safe learning environment. The goal of the camp is to teach each campe
 r the importance of developing lifelong sports and recreational skills w
 hile having fun. Educational emphasis is placed on promoting the importa
 nce of a lifestyle of health\, fitness\, and safety.\nThe focus of the c
 amp is to establish life-long recreation habits through engaging both th
 e body and the mind in a fun\, social environment.&nbsp\; A variety of t
 raditional and non-traditional sports will be played.&nbsp\; Sport rules
  and strategy will be taught\; however\, emphasis will not be placed on 
 skill mastery.&nbsp\; Board games\, card games\, and traditional camp ga
 mes will also be played throughout the day.&nbsp\; Each week&rsquo\;s th
 eme will be built into the activities\, and will exercise your child&rsq
 uo\;s imagination.
