DESCRIPTION:SAFE - Survivors Applying Faith &amp\; Encouragement meetings
  are held on the second Saturday of each month.\n&nbsp\;Moffitt Cancer C
 enter&rsquo\;s Witness Project of Tampa Bay created the S.A.F.E. program
  to unite cancer survivors and increase the optimal well-being of each p
 erson.&nbsp\; The WITNESS Project is a national faith-based program that
  emphasizes the early detection and prevention of breast and cervical ca
 ncers in the black community through survivorship and healthy lifestyle 
 choices.\n&nbsp\;The S.A.F.E. group complements the efforts of The WITNE
 SS Project by providing a venue for survivors to discuss survivorship is
 sues\, while providing education\, empowerment and encouragement.&nbsp\;
  The group participates in fun activities to increase self-esteem and cu
 ltivate strong relationships to rejoice in the sanctity of life through 
 supporting one another.\n&nbsp\;This group will host speakers\, activiti
 es and events to help uplift cancer patients and build strong relationsh
 ips. This group is open to the public.&nbsp\; Breast and cervical cancer
  survivors are encouraged to attend.\n&nbsp\;Light refreshments are prov
 ided.&nbsp\; RSVP to Linda Paige via email or phone.
