The Florida Wind Band will present a concert of patriotic favorites on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the new USF School of Music Concert Hall.  Selections for the evening will include new and old classics, such as: “Hymn for the Lost and Living” by Eric Ewazen, “Armed Forces Salute” by Lowden, and, of course, marches by John Phillip Sousa (“Sabres and Spurs” and “Who’s Who in Navy Blue”).  There will even be a special guest appearance by John Phillip Sousa himself!  Start your July 4th celebration early and enjoy an evening of great music played in dedication to American heroes.
