Temple Terrace Library 50th Anniversary in Photos
A photo gallery of commemorative events at the Temple Terrace Library April 9-14.
The Temple Terrace Library is at the end of celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The weeklong festivities began Monday with a special reception with guest speakers, including longtime Temple Terrace resident and library pioneer Margie Schine. Later, prizes were handed out to winners of the Why I Love My Library Essay and Poster Contest for kids and teens.
There was also a Family Activity Night on Tuesday, a History Night with local author and historian Dr. Gary Mormino on Wednesday, a Teen Tech Night on Thursday, and a Library History Road Show on Friday.
Today, the last day of the celebration, there will be a family event called Elephant and Piggy’s Adventure Party with a story, crafts, games and snacks for kids in preschool through third-grade. It begins at 11 a.m.
