Mayor Frank Chillura is creating "Louis 'Skip' Holtz Day" to recognize the USF coach.

For months, USF Football Coach Skip Holtz has hosted his radio show on 98.7 FM at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Temple Terrace.

On Tuesday, during Holtz’s last show of the season, Temple Terrace Mayor Frank Chillura will issue a proclamation dedicating Nov. 27, 2012 as Louis “Skip” Holtz Day in Temple Terrace, according to a city press release. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Beef’s.

“Temple Terrace has a great partnership with the University of South Florida, and we’re proud that Coach Holtz chose our community as the home of his radio show,” Chillura said in the release. “Go Bulls!”
