Are you having a neighborhood block party to celebrate National Night Out?

Will you be at the Temple Terrace Family Recreation Complex with your kids at 6 p.m. for the games, displays, emergency vehicles, K-9 and SWAT team demonstrations, and other activities?

This year’s event will also offer free ice cream, pizza and cotton candy, according to a City of Temple Terrace press release. Target will be this year’s title sponsor, offering lots of giveaways, including school supplies. There will also be drawings for prizes, including bicycles and backpacks. The event will conclude with a flashlight walk around the neighborhood to show that Temple Terrace residents are united against crime.
