Romney Supporters Gather to Cheer Candidate
Mitt Romney backers from all over the Tampa Bay area converged on the Fowler Ave. T.G.I. Friday's to watch their candidate battle with other Republican Presidential hopefuls in Monday's USF debate.
A local T.G.I. Friday's was transformed into a Mitt Romney campaign center on Monday night.
Nearly 100 supporters filled the bar room floor at the establishment on Fowler Avenue near the University of South Florida, where GOP candidates sparred in a televised debate. The mood was confident amongst the crowd, which cheered the words of the man they believe has a proven track record and the best chance to beat incumbent Barack Obama.
"I've been helping with campaigns since I was a teenager, and I think if he wins Florida it'll be like taking two steps forward," said Sandy Graves, co-vice president of the Central Pasco Republicans. "I think Mitt is the best candidate of all the Republicans because he hasn't been a politician his whole life. I supported in him last campaign, and I'm supporting him again."

Newt is full of hot air. Why replace one failed leader (Obama) with another failed leader (Newt)? Romney is the best all around candidate for the GOP. He does not have all the personal baggage that Newt has ---- and there are more ugly items to come out
