Patch RV Stops in Temple Terrace Monday

The giant green machine will be traveling through town May 14 and making a special stop at Café Kili.

It’s big, it’s green and it’ll be in town Monday (May 14).

The giant Patch RV—31 feet long and 8 feet wide—has been lumbering its way through the 19 Tampa Bay towns we cover on a mission to gather a ton of food for Feeding America Tampa Bay while raising awareness about Patch.

On Monday, Patch staff will stop by the businesses in Temple Terrace that have partnered with us for the Patch Give-A-Ton Food Drive. We’re also setting up at Café Kili from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. to introduce new readers to Patch, give out freebies and collect cans of food for the drive.

Stop by, meet an editor and take part in some of our sweet Patch giveaways!

Business owners can also learn how to claim their listings and gain insights on how to enhance their online presence on and off Patch.

Together we hope to raise one TON of food, so we need your help. And we’re looking forward to meeting you!

While the Patch RV is only in town for a day, you can take part in the Give-A-Ton Food Drive through May 31 by dropping off nonperishable food donations at these participating businesses:

If you want to find out where the Patch RV will be next, be sure to become a fan of the food drive on Facebook!

I'll be driving this monster, so be patient if you're behind and I'm only going 10 mph!
