Mayor Frank Chillura will address redevelopment, schools, municipal services and other topics Wednesday.
Temple Terrace Mayor Frank Chillura will talk about a variety of topics Wednesday when he is the featured speaker at the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce’s December Luncheon.
The luncheon will take place at the USF Gibbons Alumni Center on the University of South Florida campus, and the chamber is at capacity for this event, according to Lauren Tice, coordinator of Member Services.
Chillura will address downtown redevelopment, schools and municipal services, according to a press release from the City of Temple Terrace. He’ll discuss the City Council’s vision for Temple Terrace’s future, and explore how the city can form stronger partnerships with other area leaders. And, he’ll talk about the city’s search for a new city manager to replace retiring City Manager Kim Leinbach.
The chamber will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to benefit the Children‘s Miracle Network. The luncheon will be catered by Lupton’s Restaurants & Catering. It is being sponsored by the Law Offices of Jack Townsend.
