Mayor Declares ‘Skip Holtz Day’ in Temple Terrace

Temple Terrace Mayor Frank Chillura honored USF Football Coach Skip Holtz Tuesday evening by naming the day after him.

There was a big crowd at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s on Tuesday night, according to the City of Temple Terrace, as Mayor Frank Chillura presented a proclamation declaring Louis “Skip” Holtz Day in Temple Terrace.

The announcement was made just as Holtz was about to begin his last sports radio show of the season on 98.7 FM The Fan at the restaurant. City Council members David Pogorilich and Grant Rimbey also stopped by to say hello to the University of South Florida football coach.

For months, Holtz has hosted his radio show at the Temple Terrace Beef’s.
