A 59-year-old man stands accused of molesting two young girls who were shopping with their family members at a north Tampa Walmart last night.

According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office media release, the incidents took place just before 7 p.m. June 7 at the 2701 Fletcher Ave. store. The man is said to have followed two girls through the store. When he passed by them, he touched their buttocks.

The two girls, ages 8 and 9, were not together in the store, but were with their parents or grandparents. The incidents took place in different parts of the store and were caught on video and also seen by a witness.

Stephen Lugo, 59, of 508 E. Floribraska Ave. was arrested and charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
