Rick Gibson of West River Drive in Temple Terrace sent this photo that he took on the Hillsborough River’s bank on the west end of the West River Preserve.  

"This is an unusual location for limestone bedrock, exposed during the recent drought," Rick wrote in an email.

"It makes you wonder, surrounded by a cypress swamp and far from the river’s main channel how did this rock get here??"
