Golf Tourney to Benefit King Athletics
The tournament will take place April 1.
King High School needs new athletic equipment and upgrades, and the Booster Club is hoping a golf tournament will help the school raise money to pay for the improvements.
“We would love to get a lot of involvement from the community,” said Karen Adler, a member of the King High PTSA who is helping with the Booster Club. “We are in need of business sponsors and players.”
The tournament will take place April 1 at 1 p.m. at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club. Proceeds will go toward improving the school’s weight room, upgrading athletic facilities and buying equipment.
“The cost to play the course is $100, which includes dinner, drinks and a goody bag,” Adler said.
Available sponsorship packages range in price from $100 to $2,500. All donations are tax-deductible, and checks can be made payable to King Booster Club.
