Students and their parents gathered at Greco Middle School May 10 to participate in Family Fun Night.

The goal was to allow parents to speak with their children’s teachers while enjoying a barbecue dinner and free games with prizes. Joey Affronti brought his grill and helped cook burgers and hotdogs. Additionally, Greco’s new principal, Yinka Alege was introduced.

Alege comes to Greco after five years as King High School where he was the assistant principal of Curriculum. According to a story in King’s Scepter, Greco is a feeder school for King, so Alege’s experience at King will help him prepare students as they enter ninth-grade.
