Seniors also can dispose of old, unwanted medicines through Operation Medicine Cabinet, sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care. Just bring any expired, unused or unwanted medicines and prescription drugs to the event between 9 a.m. and noon. Police officers will take them to a hazardous waste collection site for disposal.
A free continental breakfast will be available at 8 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
A free “to go” lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to noon, courtesy of Hillsborough County Aging Services.
