Just a month after its 39th annual Community Arts Festival, the Temple Terrace Arts Council is already busy planning next year's 40th event in scenic Riverhills Park on Nov. 9 and 10, 2013.

Mike Donohue took this photo of Arts Council members, and Anita Long shared it in the Temple Terrace Patch Announcements section with this post: Temple Terrace Arts Council Donates to City of Temple Terrace.

The Temple Terrace Patch Announcements section is a great place to find players for your traveling soccer team, tell the community about your organization's upcoming food, or publicly thank someone for a job well done.

Whatever your news, you can share it by posting an Annoucement. Here are the steps:

  1. Once you're signed in to the site, hover over "News," and click "Announcements."
  2. Click "Add an Announcement."
  3. Give your Announcement a title, category, description and photo(s) if available.
  4. Click "Post My Announcement."

Click here to see a 1-minute video on how to post an announcement.

Have a photo to share that doesn't necessarily warrant an entire Announcement? Add it to Temple Terrace Patch Pics & Clips, a neighborhood gallery where anyone can add photos! Visit the gallery, and then click "Upload Photos and Videos."

Happy photographing!

More visibility and media this year - almost missed the event and I love it!

I would suggest coordinating a food truck rally. This would do 2 things, expand the publicity exponentially and address the poor food selections available. Ladies like to shop and look at art, men like to eat. You have to keep both happy or neither may show up.

The Art Festival has traditionally been held at Riverhills park. Although I love this area, I wondered if the Arts Council Members had considered moving the festival to the grassy area in the newly remodeled area of town (near Sweetbay). This area seems under utilized and the festival would be more visable to those who are driving by on 56th Street. It may also provide the retail locations some additional customers.
