City Wants Your Input in Marketing Campaign
The City of Temple Terrace is asking residents to fill out a survey as it begins to brand the area.
Update: The City of Temple Terrace has made this survey available online via Survey Monkey. Submissions will continue to be accepted as they come in.
What images come to mind when you think of Temple Terrace?
That’s what the city wants to know. As it begins its new marketing campaign to brand the city and attract new residents and businesses, Temple Terrace is asking current residents and business owners to fill out a survey identifying special city attributes.
“We need your ideas,” Mike Dunn, the city’s public information officer, told members of the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce during a luncheon last week. “They’ll help shape the way we identify the city as we head into the future.”
The Temple Terrace City Council approved a new marketing strategy at its Oct. 18 meeting. The city is working with Martin Communications and Lancaster Design, both based in Temple Terrace, to create a Temple Terrace brand, logo, tagline and business image. It will also contract with CivicPlus, a St. Louis-based company, to create an interactive website, and Full Throttle Intermedia in Tampa to create a commercial-quality video that showcases and promotes the city and its economic environment.
The survey consists of five questions, but Dunn said participants don’t have to fill out every line. They can answer a couple of the questions or simply email their ideas to Dunn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“This way, the public has a chance to weigh in and give some ideas,” Dunn said. “… I think that will lead to a better product.”
Patch has made a printable version of the survey available with this story. You can fill it out and mail it to:
