City Offices to Close for Memorial Day
Most Temple Terrace government buildings will be closed May 28.
From the City of Temple Terrace:
Temple Terrace City Hall and other government offices will be closed Monday (May 28) in observance of Memorial Day, a national holiday.
There will be no residential garbage collection or curbside recycling that day. Residents should save their recycling items for pickup the following Monday. Commercial garbage collection will not be affected by the holiday. The after-hours, holiday and emergency number for Public Works is 813-506-6590.
The Temple Terrace Public Library and Lightfoot Recreation Center also will be closed for the holiday.
The Family Recreation Complex, however, will be open on Memorial Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial Day kicks off the opening of the fun pools, kiddie pools and water slide. Pools open at 9 a.m.
