While Busch Gardens’ Kasi is visiting schools such as Temple Terrace Elementary with his best dog friend Mtani, the park’s other cheetahs are preparing to celebrate a milestone.

May 27 is the first anniversary of the opening of Cheetah Hunt, the park’s cheetah-themed rollercoaster, and Cheetah Run, the cheetahs’ new exhibit. It’s also the day that Busch Gardens will celebrate the birthdays of seven cheetahs that came to the park in January 2011.

All of these female cheetahs were born within weeks of each other, according to a post in the Inside Busch Gardens Blog. Their actual birthdays span from April 30 to May 28. But instead of having seven different parties for them over the course of a month, keepers decided to have one big celebration for them.
