$70,000+ Raised at MOSI's ‘Einstein’ Event
The annual event drew more than 1,200 guests.
On March 24, the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) hosted its 17th annual Einstein on Food & Wine event. More than 1,200 guests enjoyed wine, food, music, and many took part in a silent auction to benefit MOSI’s educational programs. More than $70,000 was raised for the museum.
The VIP room was decorated in a basketball theme while the NCAA basketball playoff games were shown on a giant screen in the VIP lounge. Guests were also able to test their own basketball skills on two 18’ dual hoop basketball games.
ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, the host sponsor for the event, featured more than 50 vintners with a variety of wines, including reds, whites, champagnes, domestic and imported. Delicious food and dessert from 27 different local restaurants were featured including: The Melting Pot; Centre Club; and Hamburger Mary’s.
A new and exciting element to this year’s event was the restaurant competition. All participating restaurants at Einstein on Food & Wine had their food judged by the guests in a quest to find the best food. Chart House was awarded first place, Byblos Pitas won second place, ItaliAsia placed third and TC Choy’s was the winner in the VIP room area.
