5 Things To Know Today
Good morning, Temple Terrace! It's Sept. 28, and here's what's going on.
1. We have a new Pet of the Week (actually two) belonging to Elizabeth Leib. If you’d like us to feature your pet, email photos and a description to ashley.reams@patch.com.
2. Plan ahead for National Coffee Day, which is Thursday. Cafe Kili will be offering a free cup of coffee to those who bring in a special flyer (which can be found by clicking the link). Any other local coffee shops doing anything special?
3. Mark your calendar for the fourth annual YES! F.A.I.R., which will take place on Saturday.
4. You can check out pictures from our local Goddard School’s participation in a nation-wide attempt to break the world record for the largest Simon Says game. School officials say they should know if they broke the record in a couple weeks.
5. If you have little ones, you can take them to Toddler Time at the Temple Terrace Library this morning. Stories, finger plays and songs make up this fun 20-minute program for 2- and 3-year-olds.
