Good morning, Temple Terrace! It's Sept. 23, and here's what's going on.
1. Hillsborough deputies are searching Wilderness Park for Francis Netto, who went for a hike there Wednesday and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
2. Former Greco Middle School teacher Debra Lafave has asked a judge to reduce her probation. In 2005, Lafave made a deal with prosecutors to be on house arrest for two years and probation for seven, after she admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old student.
3. Police say it’s OK for you to call them to report suspicious activity. You aren’t wasting their time.
4. The Temple Terrace Library is displaying the work of Temple Terrace native Bryan Weinstein, who is re-photographing historic sites around Tampa through his Tampa Changing project.
5. Brooks-DeBartolo Collegiate High School will have a college admissions presentation and community service fair tomorrow.
