5 Things To Know Today
Good morning, Temple Terrace! It's July 16, and here's what's going on.
Check out our events calendar and tell us what you think of the new look. While you’re there, you can see the variety of events happening this weekend in Temple Terrace. There’s plenty to keep you busy, including:
1. The Temple Terrace Library’s Book Sale. Today is the last day of the sale, so stop by the library between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and check it out. Books are deeply discounted, and proceeds support the library.
2. Family Fun Day at the Temple Terrace Rec Center today. You don’t need a membership to check out what the rec center has to offer. Grab your bathing suit and head over there between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
3. A beekeeping course at the USF Botanical Gardens. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about beekeeping, you’re in luck today from 10 a.m. to noon.
4. The Sacred Sounds Poetry Slam tonight at Sacred Grounds. If you have some rhymes you’d like to share, get there at 9 p.m.
5. A Tea Clinic tomorrow at Kaleisia Tea Lounge. Get personalized help brewing your own tea at noon.
