On May 5, third-graders from Florida College Academy took a field trip to learn all about local government. Their teacher, Hayley Sweet, took them to several facilities, including Temple Terrace City Hall, where they met with Mayor Joe Affronti, City Manager Kim Leinbach and Police Chief Ken Albano.
"The kids had a great time, learned a lot and went home with a few special treats," said Mike Dunn, the city's public information officer.
