The Temple Terrace Police Department recently received a report that a white male between the ages of 25 and 30 of average height and build with short brown hair and blue eyes approached a young girl and invited her to return to his home. The child refused to speak to the man, left the area and called the Police Department.

This incident appears to be similar to another incident in which an inidividual invited a young girl into his vehicle, according to a public release issued by the Temple Terrace Police Department. Both incidents occured in residential neighborhoods within Temple Terrace.

The subject may have been previously seen driving a red compact vehicle similar to a Honda Fit, the resease states.

Citizens are urged to report anyone matching the subject's description or driving the described car who may be approaching children or loitering in areas where children are known to frequent.
