Riverhills Elementary Gifted Academy for Learning held its first All Pro Dad Breakfast on the crisp morning of October 30^th. Despite cool temperatures, over 90 Riverhills dads, grandfathers, and students piled into the school’s library to enjoy breakfast together.  The All Pro Dad program helps bridge the gap between parents, the community, and the school.  Riverhills Elementary views the breakfast as a great way to increase parent involvement and the lines of communication between parent and child.  This month’s breakfast discussion topic centered on “Bully Awareness Month.”  The response was tremendous!  “The breakfast is a fantastic way to bring our school families together to spend time together, create fun memories, and learn resources that can strengthen relationships,” exclaimed Jenny Foster, art teacher.  Mothers should not feel left out … Riverhills will host the iMom breakfast on November 27^th, inviting moms, aunts, grandmothers, and stepmothers.  Riverhills will continue to support important relationships with these monthly events for our school community.
